Credits and Billing
Depending on your CCU major program requirements, you may be able to earn up to a full semester’s worth of credits from Coastal Carolina University during a fall, spring or summer semester at the Washington Internship Institute. CCU students will not be charged CCU tuition for approved credits* earned at the Washington Internship Institute.
Up to 9 internship credits*
3 credits each for the Core Course and Internship Seminar*
3 credits for optional Independent study*
*Actual credits expected to be earned for the WII experience are determined prior to WII attendance in consultation with your academic advisor, faculty internship coordinator for your major, CCU Director of Internships, and CCU Financial Aid office. If you choose to enroll in additional CCU instructional courses during your WII semester to supplement your approved WII credits, you will be charged tuition/fees for those additional courses taught by CCU faculty.

Consult with your faculty advisor, faculty internship coordinator for your major, the Coastal Carolina University Internship Director , and the CCU Financial Aid office to determine your credit and billing arrangements.
