Housing Location
Our program housing is located in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia—just two blocks from the Rosslyn Metro (subway) station on the Blue, Orange and Silver Lines, and one stop outside DC. All WII program students earning full-time credit receive a U-Pass that covers unlimited rides on Metrorail and Metrobus, making it easy — and free! — to commute to your internship and explore DC.
The neighborhood offers a variety of grocery stores, shops, and restaurants within walking distance, along with parks, trails, and Theodore Roosevelt Island. You can easily walk across the Key Bridge to Georgetown.
While living in our fully furnished apartments, you'll meet peers from across the country, create an instant community, and benefit from living in a convenient location near public transportation. Apartment Features
Two bedroom, two bathroom apartments shared by four students (no single rooms)

Students supply their own sheets, blanket or comforter, pillow, towels, and personal toiletry items.
The apartment complex features an entertainment center, gym, pool tables, ping pong tables, community room, a gated community with security services, and a seasonal pool. It also includes WII’s office and the classrooms where your classes will meet.
Housing Requirement
Housing is a required piece of our study-away program. However, students who have a medical or personal reason may apply for a housing exemption at the time of application, subject to WII’s approval. Housing commitments are binding. Changes made to a student’s housing commitment before the application deadline may result in a $500 cancellation fee. There are no changes to the housing commitment after the application deadline has passed.
