Credits and Billing
You can earn a full semester's worth of credits from New Haven during the fall and spring semesters:
9 credits for the internship
3 credits each for the Core Course and Internship Seminar
You pay what you normally pay for tuition at New Haven to participate in our program during the fall and spring semesters: your financial aid travels with you to DC.
The summer term is not supported by the University of New Haven. If you choose to participate, you will pay our fees and receive no credit; to receive New Haven credit, you will also have to pay University of New Haven tuition. Alternatively, you can choose to earn up to 9 credits from Belmont University (the Washington Internship Institute’s school of record) that you can then transfer in.
Please consult your faculty advisor and Professor Chris Haynes if you are considering summer term enrollment.
Consult with your faculty advisor and New Haven staff to determine your credit and billing arrangements.
