Rutgers Student Derin Adesanya meets Texas State Senator at Council of State Governments' DC project meeting #DCintern

Texas State Senator John Whitmire District 15 (D-Houston) serves on the advisory board for the School Discipline Consensus Project led by the Justice Policy Center at the Council of State Government (CSG) where Rutgers and WIIDC student Derin Adesanya is currently interning. Today, the CSG held their brain trust meeting in DC to discuss the dissemination of the publication that they have been working on since January. Derin's supervisor introduced her to the State Senator.
