Program Students (Undergraduate)

The application fee and registration deposit are non-refundable.
The Washington Internship Institute’s housing is required unless an exemption is approved. Changes made to the housing commitment before the application deadline may result in a $500 cancellation fee. There are no changes to the housing commitment after the application deadline has passed.
All cancellations must be received in writing.
Spring or fall students who withdraw by 11:59 p.m. ET on the day before the arrival date will receive a refund of the program and housing fees, less the $500 non-refundable registration deposit.
Summer students who withdraw by 11:59 p.m. ET on the day before the arrival date will receive a refund of the program and housing fees, less the $500 non-refundable registration deposit, and, if they have paid with a card, less a $250 cancellation fee.
There are no cancellations on or after the arrival date.
There are no program fee refunds or housing refunds on or after the arrival date.
A limited number of parking spaces may be available for an additional fee. The parking deposit is refundable if the parking tag is returned at the end of the program. There is a $35 cancellation fee if parking is paid and canceled before the program begins. There are no cancellations or refunds of the parking fee on or after the arrival day.
After the program ends, the housing deposit is refundable, depending on the condition of the apartment and the return of keys.

Recent graduates pay to WII the program fee, housing fee, and housing deposit listed on WII’s website in a series of non-refundable installments prior to the beginning of the program. Program fees are posted here. Failure to make payments on time will result in dismissal from the program.
After the program ends, the housing deposit is refundable, depending on the condition of the apartment and the return of keys.

A $200 housing deposit is required to reserve a housing space.
There is a $200 cancellation fee. All cancellations must be received in writing by the Washington Internship Institute at least 15 days prior to the arrival date. There are no cancellations or refunds on or after 14 days prior to arrival.
After departure, the housing deposit is refundable, depending on the condition of the apartment and the return of keys.
