The Washington Internship Institute has conveniently-located housing options in the Crystal City and Court House neighborhoods of Arlington, Virginia, providing quick and easy access to downtown Washington, DC, Old Town Alexandria, and Rosslyn via the Metro. Spend the summer living with other interns from all over the country and abroad in a convenient area!

The apartments feature:
2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments shared by 4 students
Furniture (couches, dining set, beds, and dressers)

Full kitchen with basic kitchenware included (students are only asked to supply their own linens/bedding, towels, and personal toiletry items)
TVs are not provided. Parking is only available for students enrolled in the Washington Internship Institute’s summer program.

Availability and Fees
Our Summer 2024 housing runs from May 20 - August 10 in Crystal City for up to 11 weeks or from May 29 - August 10 in Court House for up to 10 weeks. Move-in times vary by location and are listed in the table above. All arrival times are subject to WII’s approval.
Summer 2024 Housing Fee: $4,400
Summer 2024 Housing Deposit (refundable after departure): $200*
*Housing Fee does not include a $200 Housing Deposit (refundable after departure). Note: The housing deposit is not refundable if you cancel your stay.
Housing fee includes a double room within a 4-person apartment, in-unit laundry, all utilities, internet, and access to building amenities.
Application
Your application, proof of vaccination, and $200 housing deposit should be received at least 2 weeks prior to the move-in date, if possible.
Vaccination Requirement
Proof of COVID-19 initial series and a booster (if eligible) is required. Exemptions might be granted for appropriately documented medical or religious reasons.
