Ellen gorman, ph.d.


Ellen Gorman teaches the Internship Seminar: Reflections on Personal and Professional Development. Dr. Gorman has been a lecturer in the English Department at Georgetown University since 2005, and has taught for the Writing Program at George Washington University and the Honors Program and the School of Art at George Mason University. She has a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies and an MA in English Literature from George Mason University and a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia. Dr. Gorman co-created and coordinated a long-running visual culture symposium at George Mason and her research interests include critical theory, aesthetics and integrated writing. She co-edited and contributed to The Hummer: Myths and Consumer Culture (Rowman & Littlefield) in 2007.
