Interested in having a nice get together with friends or want to catch a sporting event? Look no further than Nationals Park where the Washington Nationals play. An effortless commute whether you are coming from downtown DC or the Arlington area, it will take you about 20-30 minutes via the metro.
The team is great with a strong hold on first place in the NL East. The stadium is only a little less than ten years old which makes the amenities top notch. Whether you are a big baseball fan or a casual fan, a Nationals game is a great place to go. If you aren’t too big into the game, don’t worry: during the middle of the fourth inning, you can watch the presidents race which includes former presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt running the warning track.
If you are going to be in the area in the summer of 2018, they will be hosting the All-Star game which will be a great event for DC. There will be a Celebrity Softball Game, Home-Run Derby and the All-Star Game where the best players in the MLB play an exhibition game. This will take place in the month of July!
Tickets are very affordable: for most games, tickets start at just $12! Go check out a game and enjoy a beautiful night in the Nation’s Capital watching Americas Pastime.
