About WII
Welcome
Since 1990, more than 2500 college students, recent graduates, and graduate students have participated in our personalized academic internship program or immersion seminars in Washington, D.C. A diverse group, they have represented all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and more than 50 countries, bringing a plurality of views, beliefs and opinions into each track.
We offer you a chance to differentiate yourself from other graduates by gaining invaluable professional experience through internships while continuing to earn credit from your home institution. However, this is not your normal classroom experience and Washington, D.C., is an incredible learning campus. Imagine passing the Washington Monument on your way to work in the morning or gazing out of your office at the White House. Classes will take you into the offices of Congress, the briefings rooms of the Pentagon, the auditoriums for symposiums in the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the United States Institute of Peace or many other distinctly Washington locations. Make no mistake, D.C. is your campus and every time you step outside your door is another opportunity to learn.
We invite you to learn more about WII and contact us if you have any questions!
